Women's Committee

The Farm Bureau Women's Committee was established to aid the organization in its efforts to effectively use women's talents to achieve the goals and objectives of the Farm Bureau Organization. Committee Members are a dedicated group who work to ensure the ideals of Farm Bureau are upheld.

Farm Bureau Days

This annual event sees a team of officers and members alike visiting the capitol to lobby state members on behalf of Florida's Agriculture industry.

Florida Agricultural Marketing Association

As a member of Marion County Farm Bureau, you not only have access to "Fresh From Florida" goods but a selection of fresh goods from States across the USA. Got a hankering for Wisconsin Cheese or Washington Apples?

Young Farmer and Rancher

This program is for men and women between the ages of 18 and 35. It's objective is to provide leadership in building a more effective Farm Bureau. Opportunities include: Leadership Development, Legislative Awareness, Educational Conferences, Competitive Events, and Networking.

Food Check Out Week

Food Check-Out week takes place in February each year and involves Farm Bureaus at the county, state and national level spreading the following messages:

· Farm Bureau is helping consumers find solutions to eating healthy on a stretched budget.

· America’s farmers and ranchers are committed to producing safe, abundant and healthy food.

Farm City Week

Farm City Week is the celebration of the relationship between rural residents and "city folk". It is a chance for Marion County residents to explore some of the experiences that come with life on the farm.

Florida Ag in the Classroom

Various high and low-commitment volunteer activities are available- visit their Web site to learn more.
